JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Parking Rover
Reports To: Parking Foreman/Lead
Department: Parking
Classification: Seasonal Full Time
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Ensures the orderly parking of incoming vehicles in addition to monitoring “60 Minute” and “No Parking Zones”. Enforces Teton Village parking regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Excellent guest service is required.
- Give breaks to parking attendants.
- Safe and orderly parking of incoming traffic.
- Monitoring and enforcing all Teton Village parking rules and regulations.
- Daily trash pickup from parking and along village boundary.
- Keeps all signs straight and visible.
- Barricade removal and deployment.
- Assists troubled motorists when possible.
- Snow and ice removal as assigned.
- Sand icy areas when loader is unavailable.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
- Performs any project or other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Foreman.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY:
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Neat appearance.
- Positive attitude - this job is guest service oriented due to the fact the Parking Rover is in the public spotlight.
- Must have outstanding communication skills.
- Must have previous Parking experience with JHMR
EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING:
- High School Graduate or G.E.D. equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
N/A
MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:
- ATV/Honda side by side
- Two-way radios.
- Shovels and barricades.
- Tickets and stickers.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
- Must be physically fit and able to lift 50lbs
- Extreme weather conditions.
- Lift and move parking barricades.
