JOB DESCRIPTION
Position job Title: Digital Marketing Coordinator
Reports To: Digital Marketing Manager

Classification: Year Round Full Time
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
GENERAL PURPOSE
The Digital Marketing Coordinator works with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure the right digital message is delivered at the right time, throughout all JHMR digital properties
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Update website content on all JHMR domains to create the best information flow, user experience, accommodate changes, and ensure information is up to date and accurate.
- Assist Digital Marketing Manager in evaluating JHMR brand site by obtaining and analyzing user feedback and recommending changes in editorial policy and site design.
- Assist in web design and development process
- Monitor, update, and evaluate online store, including but not limited to:
- Most effective user flow through online store, using digital tools, test purchases and firsthand feedback.
- Update Jstore products, including images and product descriptions.
- Work with Digital Marketing Manager, RTP, and JStore staff to coordinate best practices for product setup.
- Assist with paid advertising campaigns on the Google display and YouTube Platforms
- Manage jacksonhole.com advertising units.
- Assist with the JHMR blog by writing blog posts to promote JHMR and events, and helping with blog layout, images, and editing of others’ blog posts.
- Maintain in-resort digital signs, ensuring correct and timely messaging.
- Work with Creative Director to obtain digital creatives for digital properties.
- Work with website developers to enhance the web user experience.
- Manage content and feed for JH Insider app and any other mobile feeds.
- Writing, editing and proofreading web content following best management practices for Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
- Regular SEO editing.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
- Assist Sales & Special Events with groups, events, etc.
- On- and off -mountain photography, direct marketing and other resort briefs year round.
- Monitor web cam performance.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates primarily in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses computer and phone. Most work is completed in an indoor environment. Occasional outdoor environment in the base area and on mountain. Outdoor environment may cause exposure to extreme temperatures and varying weather.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to sit for long periods of time at a desk and working on a computer.
- Occasional walking, moving about on foot.
- Hiking and walking around on the mountain on uneven terrain.
- Skiing or snowboarding on expert terrain.
- Extensive use of fingers to type and perform other computer work.
- Hearing and ability to receive detailed information through oral communication at normal speaking level.
- Close visual acuity to update website.
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This job is year-round full time and typically works during day time business hours. Schedules and hours may fluctuate depending on business need, and overtime should be expected around project deadlines.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of on-the-job experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business.
- 2 years of previous Marketing experience.
- Previous experience in the ski industry.
- Professional photography and/or video portfolio.
- Previous experience with Redbooth, Basecamp, and Slack.
