Minimum Qualifications
- B.S./B.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders or equivalent degree in Speech Pathology.
- State credentials or licensure as required for school-based SLPA work in South Carolina, or eligibility to obtain such credentials.
- Ability to follow treatment plans developed by a supervising CCC-SLP and to implement therapy for qualifying students.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare materials, manage a workspace, and record accurate objective data and treatment notes.
- Reliable communication and collaboration skills to work with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary school teams.
- Willingness to attend meetings (IEP and case management) under the supervision of a CCC-SLP.
- Prior experience in school-based settings preferred but not required.
- Experience with IEP documentation and school district reporting preferred.
- Interest in specific student age groups; availability to be matched to buildings based on preference is desirable.
- Traditional K–12 building-based schedule.
