Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced nuclear med tech for a permanent role with an area healthcare client where you’ll work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team and be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment.
Minimum Requirements
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology.
- State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred.
- Experience with Dose Calibrator, Geiger Counter, Captus well counter and uptake probe.
- Experience operating Stress Lab equipment including EKG machines and treadmills.
- Experience using glucometer, blood pressure monitors, and pulse oximeters.
- Experience in diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine and participation in on-call rotations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital diagnostic imaging environment and collaborate with stress test nurses.
