Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI scans, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and operate MRI scanners to produce high-quality images. The role requires collaboration with radiologists and care teams to ensure patient safety and diagnostic accuracy. Candidates must demonstrate technical proficiency, sound judgment, and effective communication across diverse patient populations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. MRI registry required at time of hire.
- MRI advanced level certification or state licensure as applicable.
- Minimum two years of clinical or hospital-based MRI experience. Technologists with five recent years in radiologic specialties preferred.
- AHA BLS certification.
- Proficiency with MRI physics, safety procedures, contrast media dosing and precautions, and 3D anatomy/imaging planes.
- Ability to operate various MRI scanner models and hospital/department computer systems.
- Willingness to float to meet organizational needs up to competency level. May be required to work major holidays and pick up additional shifts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Registration or certification designations such as R.T. or R.M.R.I.T. preferred.
- Experience in high-volume or trauma-center environments preferred.
Assignment Details
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
- Schedule includes 3x12 shifts with rotating days of the week and a mix of weekend and varied graveyard shifts.
- Call requirements and specific on-call details to be discussed during interview.
- May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the scheduling period.
- Traveler may be required to float to meet departmental needs.
