Become a vital part of a hospital team in Reno, NV as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will produce diagnostic CT scans, assist radiologists during CT procedures, administer IV contrast under direction, and ensure patient care while representing the facility's mission. You will coordinate daily workflow for ER, inpatient, and outpatient throughput, perform quality control monitoring, and operate CT scanning and contrast injection equipment and image storage systems. You must provide patient assessment, planning, implementation, and exam evaluation across the lifespan including neonatal through geriatric patients.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum two years of clinical CT experience in a departmental setting.
- Experience with trauma imaging required.
- Travel experience preferred.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification with CT modality.
- State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography.
- AHA BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
- Proficiency operating CT scanners, contrast injectors, and image storage systems.
- Ability to administer IV contrast under radiologist direction.
- Ability to perform age-appropriate care for neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior inpatient hospital CT experience.
- Experience working in high-acuity settings such as trauma, stroke, or emergency departments.
Assignment Details
- Shift: Weekend overnight schedule including Friday through Sunday, 1800–0630.
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
- No on-call requirement.
- Travelers may be required to float to other facilities to meet organizational needs up to their competency level.
- May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period.

Impacting Patient Care
Under departmental supervision, you will perform CT procedures according to departmental policies and Imaging Director guidelines. You will make technical decisions to ensure optimal imaging, support stroke, trauma, and code aorta activations as needed, and contribute to department throughput and strategic planning. You must maintain required certifications and mandatory in-service training.
