Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 2 years' experience as a certified OR Tech / Surgical Technologist in a surgical environment.
• When applicable, registration with the State Regulatory Agency for surgical technologists.
• Demonstrated manual dexterity and ability to maintain professional composure in emergent situations.
• Ability to anticipate surgeon needs, manage instrument counts, and prepare instruments for cleaning following cases.
• Experience with OR turnover, stocking supplies, and maintaining surgeon preference cards. (Preferred).
• Graduation from a certified school of surgical technology or two years of operating room experience. (Preferred).
