Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or CST credential.
- BLS Certification.
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist in an operating room environment. (Client requests at least 1 year of experience.)
- Experience working in a hospital surgical setting, including exposure to general and specialty cases preferred.
- Willingness to accept on-call responsibilities approximately 1 day per week and to work approximately 1 weekend per month as requested by the facility. (Client-required call frequency noted as part of assignment expectations.)
- Must be able to provide required certifications and documentation with submissions. Candidates without all required certifications attached will be rejected by the client.
- Preferred: Permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
