X-Ray Technician

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL, for an X-Ray Technician at Jackson Health System. The X-Ray Technician will operate imaging equipment to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging results to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients, adhering to safety protocols, maintaining accurate patient records, and ensuring proper functioning of X-Ray equipment. The role also involves collaborating with medical staff and maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care.

• Proficiency in operating and maintaining X-Ray equipment and performing diagnostic imaging procedures
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and protocols in radiology
• Proficiency in patient preparation and positioning techniques
• Ability to maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients and medical staff
• Certification in Radiology Technology by an accredited program (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists preferred)
• State licensure as required; Florida Radiologic Technology license preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience working in a hospital or medical environment is a plus
