Responsibilities
Generally, requires 0 to 3 years of related experience.
Education
High School diploma is strongly preferred.
Skill
Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work accurately while meeting multiple deadlines. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with critical thinking and professional composure. Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to exercise sound and independent judgment. Knowledge and skill in use of job appropriate technology and software applications.

Summary
Retail Employee in Nutrition Services is mainly responsible for completing various foodservice task in the retail area and ensure excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Handles cash, credit card and debit transactions. In addition, performs functions related to cash handling.
- Reviews daily menu and check for accuracy of items and price.
- Notify manager when discrepancies areas detected.
- Reviews portion sizes of menu items for pricing accuracy.
- Ensures all needed supplies are on hand: register tape, plastic bags, bill verification pen, stapler, etc.
- Replenishes and stocks retail station (i.e., fruit dessert, chips, parfaits, grab-n-go, condiments, plastic ware, napkins, etc.,).
- Identifies and corrects safety hazards (spills, debris on floor) place wet floor signs.
- Notifies manager accordingly.
- Serves on serving line and prepares sandwiches in the deli area.
- Maintains a clean dining area by wiping down tables, returning trays to carousel, etc.
- Demonstrates behaviors of service excellence and CARE values (Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Expertise). Performs all other related job duties as assigned.
