Must be able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of organizational fundamentals of developing and coordinating budget activities and schedules for a large and complex healthcare institution. Must be able to demonstrate familiarity with all financial standards and regulations applicable to hospitals by various governmental, funding, and accrediting agencies. Skill in monitoring/assessing the performance to make improvements or take corrective action. Skill in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate programs. - Direct the development and execution of the organization's financial planning, analysis, and reporting strategy.
- Oversee integration of budgeting, forecasting, decision support, and workforce management to support strategic goals.
- Advise executive leadership on financial performance, trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Demonstrate the ability to lead cross-functional teams and integrate diverse operational functions to achieve organizational objectives.
- Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with senior leadership, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational objectives.
- Approve and present comprehensive financial reports, variance analyses, and forecasts to executive leaders, the board, and other stakeholders.
- Identify and recommend initiatives to improve cost efficiency, revenue generation, and operational effectiveness.
- Direct the design and execution of complex data analysis to inform strategic and operational decisions.
- Ensure the availability, integrity, and accuracy of organizational data and analytics systems.
