As part of the continued expansion of the Jackson Health System, the Jackson Medical Group, a growing multi-specialty physician network of over 40 physicians who practice throughout Miami-Dade County at over 7 different specialty care centers seek to hire a General Cardiologist to join our highly regarded Jackson Heart Institute. Doctorate degree in Medicine is required.
Experience

- Responsible for the planning, diagnostic development, management and evaluation of medical/services at the clinic/center of responsibility.
- Provides and maintains JHS Standards towards continuous, intensive direct medical diagnosis, consultation, and health care services to JHS outpatients.
- Cardiology clinic with average daily patient volume of 20-22 in the clinic.
- General cardiology patients. Primarily in office practice (aprox 3 days weekly) and (aprox 2 days weekly) in hospital.
- Practice includes general, interventional and EP at each site.

License/Certification
- Valid Florida Medical License.
- DEA and board certification or eligible in Cardiovascular Disease are required. Other specialty certifications related to specialty are a plus.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) (ACLS) for Healthcare Providers certification with at least 6 months validity required.
