Position Summary
As part of the continued expansion of the Jackson Health System, the Jackson Medical Group, a growing multi-specialty physician network of over 40 physicians who practice throughout Miami-Dade County at over 7 different specialty care centers seek to hire a Urologist to develop and build our specialty practice in the North Miami-Dade County area. Jackson Memorial Hospital, Jackson South Community Hospital and our multi-specialty private practices will serve as referral centers.
The Colorectal Surgeon will provide comprehensive surgical care for patients with benign and malignant colorectal conditions.

The Colorectal Surgeon will provide comprehensive surgical care for patients with benign and malignant colorectal conditions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality surgical care for a full spectrum of colorectal diseases.
- Perform open, laparoscopic, and robotic-assisted colorectal procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including GI, oncology, radiology, and pathology.
- Participate in call coverage and inpatient/outpatient care.
- Support quality improvement initiatives, evidence-based protocols, and program development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards.
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Surgery.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Colorectal Surgery Fellowship.
- Eligible for Florida medical licensure.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care, safety, and clinical excellence.
- Experience with robotic surgery (da Vinci platform).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole) is a plus given Miami's diverse population.
