Job Responsibilities:

• Complete service and repair assignments efficiently, safely and correctly. Work completed in a manner to pass quality inspections set forth by the dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain and repair automotive systems including: engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Communicate directly with service advisors and service manager regarding the status of work.
• Complete and staying current with manufacturer required certifications

Qualifications:

• Certified or 2 years of Automotive Technician
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
• Learns quickly
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Team Oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
• Ability to identify problems quickly
• Ability to learn new technology, specifications and procedures
• Working knowledge of shop equipment (such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc)
