Job Responsibilities:
- Complete service and repair assignments efficiently, safely and correctly. Work completed in a manner to pass quality inspections set forth by the dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
- Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnose, maintain and repair automotive systems including: engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
- Communicate directly with service advisors and service manager regarding the status of work.
- Complete and staying current with manufacturer required certifications
Qualifications:
- Certified or 2 years of Automotive Technician
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
- Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
- Learns quickly
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Team Oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Ability to identify problems quickly
- Ability to learn new technology, specifications and procedures
- Working knowledge of shop equipment (such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc)
