What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Demolition Site HSE Professional position at Jackson Demolition Service, Inc?
Jackson Demolition Service, Inc. is a nationally recognized demolition firm currently seeking knowledgeable, responsible and qualified health and safety professionals for site HSE management roles at multiple upcoming projects.
Safety is not just a priority at Jackson, it is a fundamental value at the core of who we are. The ideal candidate must be passionate about safety and keeping our workers safe. The work will require daily safety and health management of a large, industrial demolition project with a crew of 15-30 members. Activities on the site may range from precision internal removal of industrial components to full-scale facility demolition.
Responsibilities:
- Manage site safety in accordance with company policies, client programs and regulatory requirements,
- Lead daily safety meetings, training sessions, inspections, etc
- Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures,
- Document activities and maintain records
- Record and investigate near misses and incidents,
- Overseeing subcontractors,
- Additional HSE duties, as required
Qualifications:
- Previous Demolition Safety Experience is preferred
- Health and Safety Degree and Professional Credentials (ASP or CSP) are preferred, but not required
- Organizational skills and great attention to detail
- Ability to communicate with field workers and field managers
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred, but not required
- Clear and understandable written communication skills are very important
- Understand how to use basic computer software such as MS Office, Adobe, etc
Required for All Candidates:
- Expected to pass pre-employment screening, medical screening and drug testing
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- US Citizenship or legal resident status
- 30-hour OSHA certification or OSHA 500 Authorized Trainer
- 100% Willingness to travel

Salary : $75,000 - $120,000
