Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent (Required)
- Experience managing big-box retail construction and remodels (Highly Preferred)
- Experience with civil/site construction, including:
- Utilities
- Grading
- Concrete
- Paving
- Landscaping
- Site coordination
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors while maintaining project schedules
- Experience preparing and updating project schedules, look-aheads, and required weekly/monthly reports
- Thorough understanding of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety requirements
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Willingness to travel throughout the United States
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead daily field operations from project startup through final completion
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and owners
- Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved
- Enforce Jackson Dean Construction safety policies and OSHA compliance
- Conduct:
- Daily planning meetings
- Weekly subcontractor meetings
- Owner meetings
- Safety meetings
- Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation
- Work closely with Project Managers to ensure successful project delivery
- Ensure projects meet Jackson Dean Construction quality standards
- Identify and resolve field issues quickly while minimizing schedule impacts
- Build positive working relationships with owners, clients, inspectors, and subcontractors
