Job Description:
The paraprofessional will provide instructional support and targeted interventions to students identified through the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) process. This role involves working closely with teachers, intervention specialists, and administrators to implement intervention plans, monitor student progress, and provide academic and behavioral support as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver small-group and one-on-one interventions aligned with MTSS goals.
- Assist with progress monitoring and data collection to inform instructional decisions.
- Support teachers in implementing intervention strategies within the classroom setting.
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure students receive consistent, effective support.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required.
- Eligible for a GaPSC Paraprofessional Certificate.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Experience working with children preferred.
