What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian (Part Time) position at Jackson County Public Schools?
Custodian
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Non-exempt position; Part Time; Up to 19.5hr/wk; Position will last until December 31st, 2025 (with the possibility of extension for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year)
SALARY: NC 01 Scale based on qualifications and experience
QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate or equivalent. Experience in custodial work preferred.
DUTIES: General custodial duties including, but not limited to cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, mowing, lifting, climbing, etc.; experience with equipment such as floor scrubbers preferred; security check of building; may be requested to assist with facility use after regular school hours (including nights); other duties as assigned by school administration or Superintendent.
