What are the responsibilities and job description for the Academically/Intellectually Gifted Teacher (AIG) position at Jackson County Public Schools?
AIG Teacher
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Exempt Position; Temporary- Full-time; 10 month position per school year; January 2026 to May 2026.
QUALIFICATIONS: NC Teaching License in Middle Grades Language Arts required. AIG certification required or willingness to obtain certification required.
DUTIES: Responsible for instructional program for students who participate in the AIG program; participate in district level AIG meetings; normal duties of a classroom teacher and other duties that may be assigned by the principal and/or superintendent.
