What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN or MA position at Jackson County Memorial Hospital?
Job Summary: Provides nursing care in the Satellite Clinic setting. Provides care that reflects initiative, flexibility and responsibility within the scope of practice for a LPN or Medical Assistant under the supervision of a Provider and the Clinic LPN Supervisor. Communicates with providers about changes in patient’s status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to change in patient conditions or response to treatment.
Education/Regulatory Requirements & Experience:
- Must posses and maintain current LPN license or Medical Assistant certification .
- Current BLS Certification; must be obtained during the initial orientation if not current upon hire.
- Previous work history that demonstrates steady attendance and punctuality is required.
- Previous clinic experience preferred.
