Job Summary: The IT Application Specialist/Analyst is responsible for the ongoing maintenance and development of the various software applications used within the facility as well as new system implementations. The position has the responsibility of working as a liaison and project manager between administration, IT and the facility departments on various projects that are assigned by hospital administration and IT management. Duties include but are not limited to implementation of new applications, maintenance, report writing and user training on assigned HIS (health information system) modules and applications, including MEDITECH Expanse and other 3rd party applications.
