Position Announcement: Public Health Director of Nursing
The Jackson County Health Department is accepting applications for a full-time Public Health Director of Nursing. Duties include but are not limited to supervising planning, developing, directing, and operating the nursing programs and services of the Jackson County Health Department. The Director of Nursing is also responsible for preparing the budget and tracking expenditures for all nursing programs and attends to other fiscal matters. Represents the Jackson County Health Department on various boards and events in the community. Responsible for community presentations regarding public health programs and services.
Qualifications:
Successful candidate must be a currently licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio and must possess a valid Ohio driver’s license. Experience managing grants and projects is desired, and supervisory experience in nursing is preferred.
Benefits:
The starting wage for this position will be $27.74 per hour for a 40-hour work week. The Jackson County Health Department offers an excellent benefits package that includes health and life insurance, paid holidays, personal leave, vacation leave, and sick leave.
