The Empower Center is a shared-time facility serving students from both East Jackson Comprehensive High School and Jackson County High School as an extension of both high schools. One of the primary goals of the Empower Center is to change the overall student experience by incorporating a more collegiate/professional student experience throughout the campus as well as transforming the classroom from a traditional teacher directed one to a student directed, minds-on/hands-on project based learning experience.
