Are you a responsible, passionate person willing to assist with overseeing all catering, concessions, and
beverage operations for the Jackson Convention Complex (JCC) and Thalia Mara Hall (TMH). This
position ensures high-quality service delivery, operational efficiency, and strong financial performance
across all food and beverage services, including bars, concessions, banquets, and catered events.
This role provides leadership to staff, manages inventory and vendor relationships, ensures compliance
with all regulations, and works closely with Event Services, Operations, and clients to execute successful
events.
Responsibilities
• Oversee all concessions, beverage, and catering operations including bars, concession stands,
and banquet services.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute catering events, including corporate functions, private events,
and large-scale gatherings.
• Ensure efficient setup, service, and breakdown for all food and beverage operations.
• Coordinate services for concerts, performances, conventions, and special events.
• Enforce service standards, company policies, and performance accountability.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment focused on service excellence.
• Oversee inventory control, ordering, receiving, storage, and reconciliation of food and
beverage products.
• Implement controls to minimize waste and prevent loss.
• Ensure compliance with all health department regulations, safety standards, and alcohol
service laws.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are upheld.
vent Collaboration & Execution
• Work closely with Event Services, Operations, to align food and beverage services with event
timelines.
• Serve as a point of contact for catering clients during events.
• Address guest concerns and resolve complaints professionally and promptly.
• Ability to work a flexible, event-driven schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Conduct post-event evaluations to improve service quality and client satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Food & Beverage, Food and Beverage Manager or General Manager.

Qualifications
• A degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or related field
preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in food & beverage, catering, or hospitality management.
• Strong knowledge of alcohol service laws, food safety standards, and catering operations.
• Proven leadership, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Experience with POS systems, Word, and Excel
