Orthopedic Trauma Surgery NP Locums Job in South Carolina | Various Shifts Call | Beginning ASAP – Ongoing | Assignment #116111
Coverage Details
- Beginning ASAP – ongoing
- 6am to 2pm, 6am to 6pm, 6pm to 6am WEEKDAY AND WEEKENDS
- Credentialing tied to committee schedule with final approval on the 3rd Tuesday of each month
Shift Description
- Orthopedic trauma surgery hospital coverage
- Responsibilities include OR coverage, ICU coverage, hospital rounding, consults, post-operative visits, and ED support
- Average patient volume: approximately 20 patients per day
- No clinic responsibilities
Call Details
- First-call coverage required
- Must be comfortable taking call independently
- Overnight call responsibilities included
- Weekend 24-hour call coverage required
Requirements
- Active South Carolina license required
- ACLS or ATLS certification required
- South Carolina DEA and CDS required
- Orthopedic trauma first-call experience required
- Independent call coverage experience required
Required Procedures / Skills
- Reductions
- Washouts
- Orthopedic trauma surgery procedures
Assignment Details
- Level I trauma facility
- Support staff includes RN coverage
- EMR: eClinicalWorks
