We are seeking a Civil Engineer with public-sector experience who is motivated by meaningful projects, professional growth, and leadership opportunities. This role offers increasing responsibility, mentorship of junior staff, and direct involvement with clients and communities.
- Plan and design public works and capital facilities projects from concept through construction
- Collaborate directly with municipal clients, agencies, and stakeholders
- Manage and mentor junior engineers and design staff
- Coordinate with contractors and review construction activities for quality and compliance
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables
- Apply innovative, community-focused solutions to infrastructure challenges
- Experience with potable water or wastewater systems is a plus, but not required
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 6 years of professional civil engineering experience, with public works or municipal project exposure
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Washington and Oregon, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and standard project management tools
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients
- Interest in leadership, mentorship, and long-term career growth
- Hybrid schedule available
- Candidates must be comfortable commuting to the Vancouver office as needed for collaboration and project demands
Salary Range: $110,000 – $150,000 (commensurate with experience and licensure)
