Job Overview

Cardiology background not required on the job training available.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status and identify medical issues.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, including medication management and procedural interventions.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Cerner for accurate documentation of patient encounters, medical records, and billing codes such as CPT, ICD-10, ICD-9.
- Occasional hospital coverage at Henry Ford Hospital in Jackson, MI.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current certification to practice independently.
- Demonstrated experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, neonatal ventilator management, or individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Athenahealth, Cerner or similar platforms for medical documentation and coding.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology (including psychopharmacology), and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Excellent patient communication skills with the ability to perform physical examinations and provide health coaching effectively.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
