Responsibilities
- Assist the oral surgeon during various surgical procedures by preparing instruments, materials, and the treatment area.
- Utilize advanced imaging tools such as cone beam CT to aid diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Manage patient records using an electronic medical record (EMR) system while ensuring HIPAA compliance for confidentiality.
- Conduct vital signs assessments and review medical histories to ensure patient safety
- Support infection control protocols by sterilizing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment aligned with OSHA standards.
