We are currently seeking a Shipping & Order Fulfillment Associate to join our team. This position is primarily focused on accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment while helping maintain an organized, efficient warehouse environment.
Position Overview
The Shipping & Order Fulfillment Associate plays a key role in ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and shipped on time. This person will be responsible for picking products, packaging orders, preparing shipments, and supporting overall warehouse organization and inventory accuracy. While the primary focus is on fulfillment and shipping, this role may also assist with receiving and general warehouse duties as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick products for customer orders
- Pack and label outgoing shipments according to company standards
- Prepare orders for shipment to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery
- Verify order contents before shipment to maintain quality and accuracy
- Organize packed orders and shipping materials for efficient daily workflow
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse and shipping area
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock organization
- Enter and maintain accurate shipping records in the inventory system
- Work with team members and other departments to resolve order or shipping discrepancies
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment as needed
- (training provided if necessary)
- Assist with receiving or other warehouse support tasks when neededQualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in order fulfillment, shipping, warehouse operations, or related work preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills for data entry and shipping-related tasks
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
- Forklift experience or certification is a plus, but not required
- Dependable, organized, and willing to learn
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment and maintain steady productivity
