Jackpot Media is a fast growing creative agency and studio based in Tampa that specializes in commercial video production, branded content, and social first storytelling. We're looking for a motivated and driven intern to join our team this summer. This internship is perfect for someone with a passion for sales, marketing, storytelling, and helping businesses grow.
This internship is built for driven students seeking real world exposure to sales, client acquisition, and brand strategy not busywork. You’ll work closely with leadership, the sales team, and the creative department to support how media campaigns are pitched, sold, and executed from initial outreach to signed contracts. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy meeting new people, building relationships, and working in a fast-paced, team oriented environment.

- Assist with prospecting and identifying new business opportunities through social media, referrals, networking events, inbound leads, and direct outreach.
- Conduct sales and marketing audits for prospective clients by evaluating their social media presence, branding, content strategy, and overall marketing efforts, then collaborate with the marketing team to develop recommendations and growth opportunities.
- Build customized proposals, pricing packages, quotes, and scopes of work for retainer clients, one-time projects, commercial productions, and studio rental opportunities.
- Attend discovery calls, client meetings, and strategy sessions to identify client goals, gather project requirements, and help develop tailored marketing solutions.
- Support sales outreach efforts through Instagram DMs, email, phone calls, networking events, and follow-up communication with both cold and warm leads.
- Assist with deal structuring, contract preparation, proposal reviews, client onboarding, and ensuring all client-facing documents are accurate before being sent.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients while identifying opportunities to expand services, increase retention, and support long-term business growth.
- Maintain and update the company Notion CRM by tracking project statuses to ensure opportunities are organized and no potential business is overlooked.
You’ll also spend time engaging with local business owners and brands throughout the Tampa Bay area, supporting Jackpot Media’s relationship driven sales approach.
- Be pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Be organized and able to self manage tasks with minimal supervision.
- Be comfortable speaking with business owners, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers.
- Have strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
- Be comfortable learning new tools such as Notion, CRM systems, and sales software.
- Be flexible, coachable, and open to feedback.
- Have a strong interest in sales, marketing, business development, and relationship building.
- Be willing to attend client calls or meetings throughout the Tampa Bay area.
