As a Utility team member at Oyster House, you will support the kitchen and front-of-house operations by maintaining cleanliness and ensuring everything runs smoothly. This includes dishwashing, trash removal, cleaning, and assisting with food prep as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in a timely and thorough manner.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, dining area, and restrooms.
- Assist in food prep and stocking as needed.
- Empty trash and recycling bins and help maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking and cleaning.
Qualifications:
- Previous utility or dishwashing experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
