Job Overview
We are currently seeking a full time or seasonal Oil/Propane Delivery Driver for fuel delivery to residential, commercial and agricultural customers. Candidate must hold a current CDL with Hazmat endorsement. Experience preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Duties
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport oil and propane products.
- Load and unload fuel supplies using appropriate equipment while ensuring proper handling and safety protocols.
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to meet customer needs promptly while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Verify delivery tickets for accuracy, inspect vehicles daily for maintenance needs and safety issues, and document all deliveries meticulously.
- Communicate effectively with office staff and customers to confirm delivery schedules, address concerns, or resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations related to commercial driving and hazardous materials handling.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking fuel levels, reporting discrepancies, and supporting loading procedures.
