Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas.
- Maintain floors through regular buffing and polishing to ensure they are clean and presentable.
- Handle janitorial duties such as emptying trash bins, cleaning restrooms, and replenishing supplies.
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
- Collaborate with other staff members to address any cleaning or maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying management when restocking is necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
- Familiarity with floor care procedures including buffing and waxing.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
