Job Description
Jack’s Tire Service is looking for a skilled Tire and Lube Technician to assist with installs repairs, and maintenance. You will be responsible for diagnosing tire issues, performing repairs like patching punctures, replacing worn or damaged tires, and perform oil changes.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Mount and dismount tires on rims and vehicles
- Inspect tires for damage, repair punctures, and replace worn or damaged tires
- Balance and align wheels
- Perform oil changes
- Explain tire issues to customers, recommend solutions, and provide excellent customer service
- Follow safety protocols when operating equipment and handling tires
Qualifications
- Knowledge of tire types, sizes, and tread patterns, and experience with tire service equipment
- Ability to lift heavy tires and work in a physically demanding environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to diagnose tire issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must have valid driver’s license
