Duties
- Perform comprehensive auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural straightening using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication skills to repair or replace damaged vehicle parts with precision
- Install and replace auto glass components safely and efficiently while ensuring proper sealing and alignment
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical repairs, auto estimating, and assembly to support overall vehicle restoration
- Conduct detailing work to ensure vehicles are clean, polished, and presentable before customer delivery
- Handle heavy lifting safely during parts replacement or assembly processes while adhering to safety protocols
Qualifications
Background in automotive repair is highly preferred
- Strong proficiency in auto body repair techniques including auto painting, auto restoration, and sheet metal work
- Skilled in MIG welding, soldering, fabrication, and the use of various hand tools and power tools
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and automotive repair processes
- Experience with auto glass installation, auto estimating, airless paint spraying, and auto painting techniques
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during repairs
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on delivering quality workmanship and professionalism
