As the first technical hire, you will build Leland Care’s core platform from scratch, developing the architecture, data ingestion pipelines, and AI intelligence layer. You’ll transform fragmented healthcare data into a proactive system of record, owning technical decisions and execution for a mission-driven startup preparing for 2026 health system pilots.

What You Will Do

• Design and implement the complete technical architecture across four layers: data ingestion/storage, intelligence, action, and compliance.
• Build agentic AI systems that synthesize fragmented information from physicians, insurers, and pharmacies into actionable, coordinated support for seniors.
• Lead end-to-end development from initial concept through pilot launch, making high-leverage decisions on the tech stack and engineering culture.

• Proven track record of building complex systems from scratch and thriving in the high-ambiguity environment of an early-stage startup.
• First-principles thinker with deep expertise in data pipelines, intelligence layers, and creating scalable technical infrastructure.
