What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Teacher position at Jack & Jill Preschool?
Christian Preschool currently seeking Summer Camp Teacher for elementary school age. We are looking for individuals who are professional, reliable, and energetic. You must have a passion for working with children, sensitive to their individual needs, and have an understanding of developmentally appropriate practices. You must be able to work well with others, understand the importance of positive team interactions and possess strong leadership skills. Our Teachers are responsible for following lesson plans, general classroom management and supervision (including personal care, hygiene and positive discipline of the children) as well as working with parents and other staff members.
Must be available to work Monday- Friday. Preschool is open 6:45 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Hours will be set with a break. May adjust due to summer camp schedule.
Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors. Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
Must have or be willing to obtain CPR & First Aid Certification as well as FBI background check and fingerprinting.
Experience:
- Early Childhood Education: 1 year (Preferred)
- Child Care Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Willing to train the right individual

- High School or Equivalent (Required)
