Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take their food orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Process cash, credit, and digital transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in cash register operations and retail sales transactions.
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Upsell menu options to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
• Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation, food safety, and food handling protocols throughout your shift.
• Manage food service customer order management, ensuring timely delivery of orders and excellent customer service.
• Assist in operating kitchen equipment and food preparation stations to meet quality standards consistently.

Requirements

• Previous experience in quick service, fast food restaurants, or the food industry is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability in food preparation, food handling, and sanitation practices.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
• Experience working in retail sales environments like grocery stores or cafes is advantageous.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
