What are the responsibilities and job description for the Merchandiser position at JACK HILLIARD DISTRIBUTING?
Jack Hilliard Distributing is looking for Merchandisers for the Austin area. We have been a beverage distributor for over 60 years. Our brands include Guayaki Yerba Mate, Uptime Energy, Bum Energy, Black Rifle Coffees and many more.
The Merchandiser drives a Ford Transit or Sprinter van or an Isuzu box truck and merchandises our products in c-stores and grocery stores. This job will entail primarily merchandising in grocery stores.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Bring a sense of urgency and commitment along with desire to get things done
- Merchandise our products to our standards
- Maintain good relationships with customers
- Delivering hotshot orders to customers
- Maintain high levels of communication with customers and our team
- Ensure all equipment including van, tablets, printers etc. are clean and in good working order
Qualifications and Skills
- 1 year of experience in beverage industry
- Self-disciplined
- Goal and detailed oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizations skills
- Valid driver license
- Speak, hear and understand instructions
- Frequently transition between walking and sitting
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
