Job Description:
As an Auto Parts Counterman, you will be the go-to expert for our customers and technicians, providing exceptional service in sourcing, selling, and managing automotive parts. You will play a critical role in ensuring our service department operates efficiently and our customers receive the highest quality parts for their Audi vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers and service technicians in identifying, locating, and ordering automotive parts.
- Process parts sales, including retail, wholesale, and internal orders, with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock replenishment and organization.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Collaborate with the service and sales teams to ensure timely availability of parts.
- Stay updated on Audi parts, accessories, and industry trends to provide expert recommendations.
- Process returns, warranties, and special orders in compliance with dealership policies.
- Assisting with parts deliveries, including driving responsibilities
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in automotive technology a plus.
- 1 years of experience in an auto parts department, preferably with luxury or European brands like Audi.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems; familiarity with Audi parts is a plus.
- Proficiency with parts inventory software (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds) and basic computer skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
