What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Valet position at JACK BOLES SERVICES INC?
We are looking for a customer-oriented valet to join our team at a prestigious Dallas Hotel. The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, courteous, greets guests with a smile and welcoming demeanor.
Duties and responsibilities included but are limited to:
- Assist all guests entering and exiting the location
- Open doors and greet patrons
- Identifying and assessing customers’ needs
- Inspecting vehicle and documenting any prior damage
- Parking and retrieving customers’ vehicles quickly and safely
- Acknowledging and greeting all customers
- Calling customers by their last name
- Track vehicle/customer information with our digital ticketless system
- Assist guests with directions and other inquiries about the area
Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Hold a valid driver’s license
- Be able to read, write and speak the English language
- Must pass a background and drug test
- Be eligible to work in the USA
- Be able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Able to stand, climb stairs and run for extended periods of time
- Provide service in outdoor conditions
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Be able to work alone and as a team
- Prior customer service and valet experience is a plus
