Accounts Receivable Manager
The Accounts Receivable Manager will support our accounting department and our employees. The Accounts Receivable Manager will drive, execute and manage the overall accounts receivable and accounting tasks within the working capital area.This is a supervisory role with direct reporting responsibilities.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead, oversee and supervise members of the Accounts Receivable team
- Manage & supervise all A/R functions, including new customer or store set up, billings, collections, cash & credit application and processing of bad debt
- Ensure all cash is deposited & posted correctly to sub ledger daily.
- Plan collection tactics for risky, slow pay and sensitive accounts. Collect outstanding receivables.
- Perform & develop accounts and customer reconciliations. Analyze delinquency trends
- Reconcile sub-ledger to the GL & monthly close process
- Prepare & generate aging reports
- Understand and demonstrate safe work practices at all times to ensure a safe work environment.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to manage, motivate, and support direct reports.
- Retail experience is key
- Proven experience and understanding of credit issuance
- Proven knowledge of financial statements, finance agreements and standard legal agreements
- Strong knowledge of principles concerning collections, accounting and cash postings
- Problem solving, analytical, follow through & communication skills must be stellar
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in fast paced environment and strong organizational skills
- Professional, business level written and oral communication skills including interpersonal skills that yield positive results
- Demonstrated experience in developing strong working relationships with internal and external customers
- Demonstrated proficiency in accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite
- High degree of accuracy
Experience and Credentials
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience
- 5 years accounting experience
- 5 years of hands-on accounts receivable and supervisory experience
This role will report on a hybrid basis to our Corporate Office in Huntingdon Valley, PA.
