As a Veterinarian Technician/Front Desk Receptionist, you will play a critical role in our front office team, providing administrative support and assisting our veterinary team in delivering high-quality care to our furry friends.

Position Summary

The Veterinary Technician/Client Service Representative provides support to our veterinarians and medical team while also assisting clients at the front desk. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.

Veterinary Technician Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures

• Safely restrain animals for exams and treatments

• Assist in collecting laboratory samples and perform in-house diagnostics

• Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian

• Prepare and maintain surgical and treatment areas

• Monitor hospitalized patients

• Maintain accurate medical records

• Clean and sterilize equipment while maintaining a safe, organized workspace

• Educate clients on medications, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions

Front Desk Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients with professionalism and compassion

• Answer phones and schedule appointments

• Check patients in and out

• Process payments and maintain accurate financial records

• Manage medical records and client communications

• Coordinate prescription refills and appointment reminders

• Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area

Qualifications

• Veterinary technician experience preferred (credentialed technician welcomed but not required)

• Customer service or veterinary reception experience preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Basic computer proficiency and experience with veterinary software is a plus

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely handle animals of various sizes

• Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to work as part of a team
