POSITION TITLE Asset Manager (Real Estate)

Position Summary
In this position, you will lead asset management activities for a U.S. residential real estate portfolio while supporting relationships with Japan-based investors, overseeing property operations, renovation execution, financial and banking coordination, and cross-border communication to drive value creation across assigned assets.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary asset-level contact for Japan-based investors, providing reporting, consultation, and performance updates
- Oversee third-party property management partners across leasing strategy, maintenance, tenant matters, and vendor performance
- Review monthly operational and financial reports, identify variances, and drive corrective actions
- Monitor cash flow, reserves, and support investor remittance processes
- Coordinate banking setup and ongoing administration, including documentation and internal controls
- Manage insurance coordination, renewals, coverage reviews, and claims follow-up
- Develop and execute renovation and value-add plans, including scope, budget, and schedule control
- Support disposition processes by preparing operating summaries and asset narratives
- Lead cross-border communication with overseas stakeholders and collaborate with internal accounting and finance teams
- Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in asset management, property management, real estate investment, or related roles
- Proven experience managing renovation projects and capital expenditures
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational reports
- Strong bilingual communication skills in English and Japanese
- Experience coordinating banking and insurance administration in partnership with accounting and finance teams preferred

Compensation
- SALARY USD90,000-95,000 ( Higher compensation may be considered depending on experience and career background )
- Bonus: Year-end bonus available ( Previous year’s payout was approximately one month of annual salary )
