Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man/Woman to join our team. As a Handy Man/Woman, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our rental properties. You would be working an indepenant contractor and set your own hours.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner
- Perform basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting tasks
- Repair or replace broken equipment or fixtures
- Install or assemble furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or similar role
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Requirements:
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Able to pass a background check
- Work some after hours or weekends? (Emergency after hours pay available)
- Have your own tools
- Must have the ability to professionally interact with our tenants
- Work well on your own
- Well versed in home repairs (Minor plumbing and electrical repairs, painting, etc.)
