Technical Support Specialist

As the Technical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in resolving technical issues employees encounter. This position provides hands-on support for hardware, software, and networking issues; manages help desk requests, installs and maintains computer systems; and assists users across the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve issues with computers, software, and network systems
• Log, track, and document incidents and resolutions in the JAC Products Help Desk
• Perform system maintenance and patching
• Provide on-site or remote technical support to users as needed
• Triage server, network, and computer related incidents
  
  

Skills/Competencies:

• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities at once
• Proactive, customer focused approach
  
  

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Computer Science or similar experience
• Minimum 3 years working with computers, networks, and applications
• Two years help desk or customer service experience, preferred
• Understanding of enterprise data center concepts (Windows, networking, server administration)
