Plant Manager

We have an opportunity for a results-driven Plant Manager at our manufacturing facility in Napoleon, OH. As Plant Manager, you will be responsible for driving the overall operational and financial success of our facility. This role focuses on achieving annual financial goals while ensuring a safe work environment, consistently meeting customer quality standards, hitting daily production targets, maintaining 100% on-time delivery, and optimizing inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the annual operating and financial budget aligned with corporate strategic goals.
• Ensure quality systems are followed and corrective actions are taken to meet product standards.
• Create and implement business unit and departmental plans to achieve performance targets.
• Maintain a safe, compliant, and healthy work environment for all employees.
• Build effective plant-wide communication, recognition, and engagement programs.
• Coach and develop direct reports for high performance and future growth.
• Monitor operational and financial performance, taking timely corrective actions.
• Implement and enforce all corporate policies and practices.
  
  

Requirements And Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or similar discipline required; advanced degree preferred
• Five (5) to ten (10) years of supervisory experience in a Tier I manufacturing environment required
• Manufacturing knowledge of equipment, tooling processes and quality systems; IATF, assembly processes, and Toyota Production System knowledge strongly desired
• Experience in Production Control, Inventory / Material Flow, Quality, and Tool Engineering required
• Knowledge of Automotive OEM systems, processes and documentation requirements necessary
• Some travel required to visit customers and other JAC facilities (less than 30% travel expected)
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems using sound judgement and have strong business and financial acumen
• Excellent communication skills
