JAC Products is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics and Transportation Specialist to join our team at our regional office in Saline, MI. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, management, and optimization of logistics and transportation operations for our North American facilities. Key responsibilities include managing freight activities, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with USMCA, NAFTA, and Country of Origin submissions. You will also play a critical role in verifying import/export codes and ensuring all necessary documentation is provided at the time of shipment.

Skills / Competencies:
- Customer-focused with experience managing projects and delivering results
- Strong knowledge of transportation and logistics, specifically within the automotive industry
- Experience with commercial invoices and managing critical freight operations
- Excellence in organizational and time management skills
- Strong communicator, able to address different audiences effectively
- Strong computer skills: MS Excel, Project, Word, Power Point and Outlook
- 5-7 Years of experience in Supply Chain/ Material Management
- Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience (preferred)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Solid working and situational experience in materials, operations and logistics
