Assistant Plant Manager -Franklin
JAC Products has a unique opportunity for a proactive Assistant Plant Manager to join the team in Franklin, GA. The Assistant Plant Manager serves as the primary owner of the plant’s value-added operations including production, maintenance, engineering and new product launches.
In this position, you will work to stabilize production volumes and first-pass yield through various business segments. You will also implement processes to reduce manufacturing scrap, reduce and control labor costs, and ensure that effective safety protocols are in place. You will have the opportunity to mentor and develop business segment leaders within a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Operations or related field preferred
- Demonstrated experienced in stabilizing underperforming production processes required
- Proven ability to create meaningful actions from data analysis required
- Experience with PM programs, Critical Spares Inventories & restorative maintenance desired
- Proven ability to quickly identify waste, resulting in action plans required; the ideal candidate will have a continuous improvement mindset
- Demonstrated project management skills required; high degree of financial acumen and ability to build teams and retain high performers essential
