Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee construction projects and ensure that work is completed efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to read plans, establish all grades for the installation of sanitary sewer mainline and manholes. This role is pivotal in managing teams, coordinating tasks, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations on the construction site.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site to ensure project timelines are met.
- Manage and lead a team of workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Utilizing past experience in conforming to blueprints and accurately providing grades.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with project managers to discuss project progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Review blueprints and plans to ensure that all work aligns with specifications.
- Inspect work quality and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
- Familiarity with OSHA standards and safety regulations related to construction sites.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills.
